We’re proud to share that dealii-X was present at the recent mini-symposium “Towards Real-Time Simulations for Cardiovascular Digital Twins,” held at SISSA and organised by Pasquale Claudio Africa, a researcher from Spoke 9 of the iNEST consortium and recipient of a Young Researcher Grant.
The event brought together experts in mathematics and computational science to explore how real-time digital replicas of the cardiovascular system, powered by model order reduction techniques and neural networks, can transform our understanding of heart and vascular diseases and pave the way for patient-specific treatments.
Our colleagues Ivan Prusak and Richard Schussnig (Ruhr University Bochum) held two speeches on “Optimisation-Based Domain-Decomposed Reduced Order Models for Coupled Fluid Problems” and “Matrix-Free Higher-Order Finite Element Solvers for the Cardiovascular System”.
Nice to be part of the journey toward real-time, personalised cardiovascular modeling.
